According to the petition, its going to be an amicable and simple split.

Robin Wright Penn filed her petition for divorce last week in Marin County, California. According to the petition, its going to be an amicable and simple split: the parties have agreed to shared custody of their 16-year-old son Hopper Jack Penn, and have reached an agreement as to the division of their property. Their daughter, Dylan Francis, is 18. Over the course of their 12-year marriage, petitions for divorce were filed on 2 other occasions.

Of course Sean Penn has starred in a horde of flicks, including “I am Sam,” “Dead Man Walking,” and “Casualties of War.” Robin Wright Penn, however, is not stranger to Hollywood. You might remember her from “Forrest Gump” and “The Princess Bride.”

Nice to hear that the divorce will be easy. However, that’s what they all say. Let’s see what Robin does when she finds out that Sean has a new lady friend.

SNL Alum and star of “30 Rock” has filed for divorce from his wife of 23 years. This isn’t all that surprising, given that the pair have been separated for 8 years now. Morgan, who is only 41, is arguably at his prime. Given 30 Rock’s popularity, the guy’s banking. That’s probably why he has reportedly been strenuously playing the field, entertaining a new lady every couple of months.

NHL Star Brawls - with a Cabbie?

Patrick Kane of Chicago Blackhawks fame allegedly beat the daylights out of a cab driver over the weekend. The reason: The driver couldn’t give Kane change of 20 cents (that’s right, 2 dimes, 20 pennies, you get the point). On a $13.80 fare, Kane paid with $15 and was only given a $1 back because the driver had no coins. The cab driver’s tip: Kane and his cousin (it was a doubleteam) choking and decking him. They then took back the money they paid.

The Kanes are charged with robbery and criminal mischief. Gotta love the imminently forthcoming settlement. It was 20 cents (4 nickels). Come on Kane, get a grip and save it for the ice – the season is around the corner!

Katherine Jackson’s attorneys objected today to the deal made by her son’s estate with AEG Live and Bravado. The deal, which included a documentary about Michael Jackson’s last months (using a Jackson rehearsal video), was estimated to be worth approximately $100 million to the Jackson estate. Brother Jermaine Jackson isn’t happy.
