The woman came home to find her belongings trashed and spread all over her front lawn and street. When she went into the home, the would-be purchaser demanded that she leave. When the woman’s husband, children and grandchildren came to help, the cops came and threw them out too. Literally, this woman was thrown out of her own home, and left homeless for 24 hours!

To make matters worse (and add insult to injury), the man was able to purchase the home at auction for $87,000. She had previously paid $260,000.

Could it be? Another banking industry folly? Apparently not – the mistake was actually due to an error in the Miami-Dade Clerk’s office. A Miami judge ultimately reversed the sale. She is stuck having to sue for damages related to the destruction of her furniture and property.
